Sisters Gemma Scott Knight and Abigail Rutherford (nee Walters) were brought up largely in Hong Kong and also Hampshire where they both now live. Growing up in Hong Kong allowed Gemma and Abi to travel extensively throughout the Far East as well as their beloved India. With their thirst for travel and love of these exotic lands it encouraged Gemma and Abi to develop their own taste and unique eye for interiors. And after a trip to Jaipur in April 2017, the bright colours and unique light of this stunning city inspired and encouraged them to create Ashoka Designs.
